Leonard I. Sweet

Leonard I. SweetLeonard I. Sweet is the vice president of Drew University and dean of the Theological School at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Widely recognized as a historian of American culture and a popular lecturer and consultant on the church’s mission in the postmodern age, Sweet is the author of numerous books and articles, including FaithQuakes, selected as one of the ten best religion books of 1994 by the Academy of Parish Clergy, and The Jesus Prescription for a Healthy Life. An associate editor of The Journal of the American Academy of Religion and co-author of Homiletics, he also founded SpiritVenture Ministries and writes Sweet’s SoulCafe, a spirituality newsletter for postmodern Christians.(Bio dated 1997)
